Overview

Managing rental properties often involves juggling spreadsheets, emails and paper contracts. Property Pulse consolidates these workflows into a single dashboard that visualises rent schedules, maintenance requests and market trends. The goal is to reduce friction on both sides of the rental relationship and inform better decisions in a volatile housing market.

My Role

Inspired by friends’ struggles with unreliable landlords and late payments, I scoped the problem space and created user personas for renters and property managers. Working with full‑stack developers, I designed wireframes, prioritised features and facilitated user testing. I also conducted market research to align Property Pulse with evolving legal requirements in Turkey and the UK.

Impact

In beta trials with 20 rental properties, late payments dropped by 40% and tenants reported higher satisfaction due to faster responses to maintenance issues. Landlords appreciated the consolidated dashboard and data‑driven rent adjustments. As the housing landscape continues to evolve, Property Pulse aims to serve as a fair and transparent platform for all stakeholders.
