A multimedia learning platform that brings pharmacy education to life through interactive stories, visualisation and human‑centred design.
Acepharm Storybook began as a way to make complex clinical scenarios more engaging for students and patients alike. Rather than static lectures, the platform uses branching narratives, animation and simple language to illustrate therapeutic decision‑making, medication counselling and patient journeys. Users explore different outcomes based on their choices, building empathy and critical thinking along the way.
I led scriptwriting and curriculum integration for Acepharm Storybook, working closely with pharmacists, educators and patient advocates. I coordinated a team of illustrators and developers to ensure that medical accuracy never sacrificed narrative flow. The project reinforced my belief that empathy and education are inseparable in healthcare innovation.
Trials with pharmacy students reported higher retention of clinical concepts and greater confidence in patient counselling after using Acepharm Storybook. In community workshops, participants remarked that the stories reflected their lived experiences and helped them understand their medications better. The tool has since been adopted by several universities and NGOs as part of their digital health literacy programmes.
